Allows removal of the particulate filter
The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) captures soot from exhaust gases. On vehicles used predominantly for short journeys the DPF can block, triggering fault codes, forced regeneration cycles and eventually limp mode. Replacement DPF units are expensive. Our DPF/PPF removal file disables all DPF and particulate filter monitoring and regeneration in the ECU, allowing the physical filter to be removed without generating faults.
