Swirl flaps (intake runner flaps) are small valves in the intake manifold that alter airflow at low RPM to improve combustion efficiency. They are notorious for failing and breaking apart. Fragments can then enter the engine causing catastrophic damage. Our Swirl Flaps Removal solution disables ECU monitoring of the swirl flap system, allowing the flaps to be removed or blanked without generating fault codes.
