Creates a hard rev limiter with pop/bang sound
A hardcut rev limiter uses ignition cut (rather than fuel cut) to limit engine speed at the rev limiter. This creates the characteristic pop/bang sounds from the exhaust when the limiter is hit and is popular in motorsport and performance applications. The ignition cut approach can also be combined with a lowered rev limit if required. Typically applied alongside a Stage 1 or Stage 2 performance map.
